ARE YOU THE BLACK SHEEP OF YOUR FAMILY?
Recently I learned that psychologists often view the person who is the Black Sheep in the family to be the healthiest person in it.
Often the Blacksheep is the person who admits there is a problem and that means others have to change. Though sometimes it's just a matter of being "different" as in the one who hasn't married and had children.
In a dysfunctional relationship (be that the family of origin or the "family at work) people are somehow assigned or grow into their roles and even if they're sick roles and they get used to being in them. The Black Sheep on the other hand, wants change.
When the Black Sheep wants change, the others who don't want change or who are afraid to change may be mightly compelling in their behavior to keep the status quo, even if the status quo is sick.
They may kick the Black Sheep out of the family or fire them at the office, BLAME THEM entirely for the problem, or be exceptionally critical and judgemental against them. By abandoning or isolating a family member, as in the case of shunning, that person's overall situation is weak. They will no longer have the benefits of being a member of the so called "building block" of society - the family!
If they love their family (or need their job), and many do despite everything, they may go back and agree to their old role, rather than not have any connection at all.

REMEMBER MICHEAL JACKSON and THE JESUS JUICE
Remember Micheal Jackson and the "Jesus Juice," the wine he was having kids drink to warm them up for being silly about wearing their underpants and sleeping with him - a grown man - a stranger - in his bed? My blood is boiling at the way this creep is going down in history as a great entertainer and humanitarian.
Just because this blog is NEVER MARRIED NO KIDS, just because I don't have kids and never wanted any doesn't mean that I hate kids. I think kids deserve a whole lot more than they are getting. And that includes protection from opportunistic parents who would actually allow their child to spend time with a rich never married singer-celebrity simply because he is a rich never married singer-celebrity. Irresponsibly allowing their children to be exposed to this - especially after the first trial and strong rumors of payoffs prior to that - just for the goodies, is greedy and sick.
One friend said "Well, he's meeting his maker now." I wish I could be so religious. I'm not. And I don't think the spectacle of eternal damnation excuses us as a society for putting the emphasis on popularity instead of values!

What is this shi* doing on the New York Times Best Seller list? Is the American public, women in particular, this INSECURE that we need another "expert" to tell us how to get and keep men?
No, he's not being funny, he's serious when he says that a man needs COOKIE (read NOOKIE) and if he has to wait a whole month or more to get it from you HE IS GOING TO CHEAT. Who wants or needs men in our personal lives like that? NOT ME!
MEN ARE NOT ALL LIKE THIS. The biology as destiny argument is worthless!
MEN WORTH HAVING IN YOUR LIFE ARE NOT LIKE THIS.
Mature men, who are not ego buffed by celebrity and groupies hanging off their *ocks, know that TRUE INTIMACY and REAL COMMITMENT are not dependent on sexual functioning. Yes, people go through pregnancies, illnesses, loose their libidos or their ability to get it up. Men worth having aren't demanding sex from their women who are undergoing radiation and chemotherapy for breast cancer, for instance.
STEVE HARVEY seems stuck in adolescence to me!
IF WOMEN TURNED THE TABLES ON SUCH MEN and SAID "If you don't give me orgasms I'm out of here," there would be very few families and there probably wouldn't even be a population problem!
MEN LIKE STEVE HARVEY NEED TO BE INTRODUCED TO THEIR HANDS rather than WASTE THE TIME (and the LOVE) of women! They are NOT gentleman, and gentleman, by the way, ARE the ones who PROVIDE and PROTECT.
